Since our launch in 2021, Solanium has hosted many IDOs and fundraising initiatives for web3 protocols, providing our community with access to cutting-edge projects in the decentralised finance (DeFi) space.

While native to Solana, Solanium has also hosted IDOs on other Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains such as BNB Chain, Polygon and Arbitrum.

Understanding that IDOs on these chains might be less familiar to some of our stakers, we’ve prepared this brief guide starting with Arbitrum One, which is where our latest Node Sale with Aethir is currently underway.

Getting Started:

To participate in Arbitrum IDO launches on Solanium, you’ll need to start by setting up an Arbitrum wallet.

Since the IDO process takes place on Arbitrum, participants must connect their Arbitrum-compatible wallets to the project page to register for whitelisting.

For Arbitrum we recommend using one of the following wallets:

  • Rabby wallet (PC), Rabby is a multi-chain EVM compatible wallet and also works with Ethereum, BNB and any other EVM chain. Rabby can be installed as a browser extension.
  • Rainbow wallet (Mobile / PC), Rainbow is a multi-chain EVM wallets which supports Ethereum, BNB, Arbitrum, Base and other EVM chains. It can be installed on iOS and Android and they recently also released their browser extension.
  • Any other wallet that supports Arbitrum is also supported by Solanium. Note that Phantom wallet does not support Arbitrum at the moment.

Participating in an Arbitrum IDO Launch:

Once you have your wallet prepared, participating in an IDO launch on Solanium follows a straightforward process.

a) Connect your wallet to solanium.io and head to the respective project page.

b) Click on [Whitelist]. If you have not connected your Telegram, you will be prompted to do so. This is part of our KYC process.

c) Connect your Arbitrum wallet and complete the captcha.

You can also input your address manually by clicking on the ‘Add address manually’ link. However, we recommend using the wallet connect function to minimise the risk of errors. If you are using the Phantom app, you need to enter the address manually as the Phantom app does not allow you to connect to any other (EVM) wallets.

Note that if you are using Rabby wallet and do not see the Rabby option, you can click on Metamask and Rabby will pop-up.

d) Agree to accept the terms & conditions and click to submit your application

Maximising Your Allocation:

Remember, your allocation will be based on your Staking Tier. If you’re in Tiers 1–3, where allocation relies on a lottery system, you can boost your chances by earning additional tickets through completing our social tasks!

A Final Note:

Once approved for allocation, remember that your contribution needs to be sent in USDC via your Solana wallet.

With this guide, we hope you are well-equipped to participate in future Arbitrum IDO launches on Solanium. We’re excited to see you engage with these opportunities, as we continue to foster innovation and growth in the DeFi space.
